USED EX-RENTAL

The ASF-1 is a professional hydrophone made by Ambient Recording, designed to be both affordable and high-quality. It features a linear, low-distortion preamp with a flat frequency response from 10Hz to 40kHz, aimed at delivering natural, clean underwater sound.
It runs directly off standard 48V phantom power, meaning it works immediately with existing professional audio equipment — no adapters needed.
Machined from high-grade V4A stainless steel, it's rated to withstand water pressure down to 100 meters.
The materials — NBR, V4A, and polyurethane cable — are specifically chosen for long-term resistance to seawater.

The DS-30 directivity sphere gives the omni-directional hydrophone a directivity close to a super-cardioid. Its is manufactured with special PE-HD material which can withstand a water depth of at least 1000m without altering its acoustic behaviour.
