Here we have a beautiful vintage Nagra 4.2 open-reel tape recorder. These were widely used for location film recording back in the day and considered collectors items now. Very, very high quality. Would be ideal for a vintage studio or retro installation!

Unit is in good condition for the age and operational. Original XLR microphone input sockets have been changed out to the standard female, making it easy to connect modern microphones without having to use a gender-changer adapter.

Plastic lid is uncracked, although slightly yellowed.

Unit will be supplied with a new set of 'D' type batteries as shown, along with a brand new (old stock) reel of tape, so you can get going straight away!

Collection is preferred (Somerset), although happy to arrange delivery at cost. Unit will be very well-packed, but is heavey!

These usually go for over £1K on e-bay, so are offering it at a very good price on here!
