Handles weight of all DSLRs (Canon 5DMk2 / Panasonic GH4 etc), Canon EOS Cinema Series
(C-100, C-200, C-300) and RED KOMODO

Glidecam manual recommends max. weight = 6 pounds / 2.72kg - inc. weight of top sled, camera with lens, microphones etc
when using single spring, but load capacity doubles using dual spring.

Whilst it lacks the fine adjustment capability of its equivalents, the STEADICAM SK
or FLYCAM HD-5000, this is a fine piece of kit, with which I've achieved excellent results.
I use magnets, set against the weights, to fine tune balance on bottom sled.


GLIDECAM arm + stabiliser supplied in fairly battered but functional Maplins flight case.
Body suit + stand supplied loose.

Weights:
Case with arm etc = 9.5kg
Body vest = 2.5kg
Light stand = 1.2kg

Combined weight = 13.2kg // 14.2kg with extra packaging
