One of a kind custom built setup for easy untethered on location operations.

Phantom HD Gold camera main features:

I own this camera for four years now. In that period of time it has been operated only by myself both on rentals as well as personal projects.

The camera has been checked and cleaned by one of the official Phantom distributors in house technicians. They have replaced the SDI port and confirmed all knobs, buttons and ports are working well.

The company who bought this camera first, paid for it a whopping 141.500 USD.

Tech talk for the nerds:

Phantom Gold has a cool feature that's very useful for social media content production that is a square 4MP sensor capable of shooting 554 fps at 2048 x 2048 px resolution

Phantom cameras come from a background of technical image analysis. In that field being able to see is far more important than how good or clear the image is. This is very apparent when you take a look at various phantom camera control software settings available to the user. Settings that in the film making world would not be made available to us because of the potential loss in image quality. This camera shoots in 14 bit however in doing so it stretches what the sensor is capable of a little bit too far. In the 14 bit mode there is a fixed pattern noise visible in the blacks and shadows. I have tested about a dozen HD Gold cameras, and every single one of them has it. Because of that, as far as I am concerned shooting in 14 bit is good for high key low contrast shoots only. Depending on what you are shooting it may not be visible at first, and only be visible when looking closely lets say on 300% magnification and after bumping up the exposure. Black balance removes this pattern to some extent. Original .stg reinstall, lowering the black level may help with getting rid of the pattern to some extent. My favorite method of all is not shooting in 14 bit. In 12bit shooting mode the fixed pattern noise is gone so I sicked to this color depth setting for most of the shoots.
