Sound Devices 744t four track field recorder (with timecode). Still industry standard kit, despite the arrival of newer models from SD themselves.

The backlight on this device is faulty! The buttons all light up fine, but the backlight for the LCD display doesn’t. Makes it a little difficult to record in the dark, but other than that one exception, this unit is in great working order.

The internal HDD has been upgraded to a very fast 240gb SSD, which will give you the ability to record all 4 tracks simultaneously at 96kHz samplerate if you’re a sound effects guy.

I’ll include both of my 2300mAh batteries so you have a spare, which should last a boom op all day. High samplerate, multitrack sound effects guys will probably want something larger though for all day sessions, but you’ll still get a good 4 or 5 hours juice out of these.
