Extra Information I am offering my 788 recorder here, complete with a substantial amount of accessories. I originally purchased it used for a feature film project, but I soon realized that I wasn't utilizing all of its features and since I tend to work "out of the bag" (carrying the equipment on my person) most of the time, I found it to be simply too heavy for my needs. It is a fantastic recorder; everything works perfectly, and perhaps someone else will get more enjoyment out of it than I did.

I connected the SanDisk reader via FireWire; this allowed the recorder to record simultaneously to three media. However, at the end of the day, I didn't have to reach around to the back of the recorder; instead, I could simply and conveniently pull the card out from the side (see pictures).
For remote control, I opted not to use CL-WiFi as I found its restriction to older iPad/iPhone models quite frustrating, but rather connected an Ambient Master-Lockit. This unit generates its own Wi-Fi network, allowing you to connect with any device of your choice to remotely control the recorder (managing metadata, remote record/stop functions, track metering, etc.). I simply used an old mobile phone and permanently mounted it to the bag (see photos). The necessary MLC-CL cable is, of course, included. Incidentally, using the MasterLockit does not require you to use Ambient's timecode system, though that is certainly an option as well. I was able to continue using my Tentacle units, and it worked perfectly!
Also included (optionally) are adapters from Kortwich: specifically, adapters converting TA3 Mini-XLR to standard XLR, as well as adapters converting 1/8" jacks to Mini-XLR. I used these to connect a Sennheiser SK2000 and a Shure SLXD-5 directly to the unit, thereby saving myself the need for separate XLR adapters.
The recievers seen in the picture are not included.
