Hi, this is the Portabrace bag for the Filmtech LSP4.

A bit of a historical item...

This bag was one of the very first to enter the UK and it came about by accident over a curry in an Indian restaurant near the most southerly entrance to Central Park in NYC.

I met the main importer of Filmtech products back in the mid 90s on one of my NY trips and over lunch I happened to mention how useful a Portabrace bag would be for the LSP4, this chap was also the main importer for Audio Ltd as well.

He asked me what my setup was and what features I would be looking for in an ideal bag.

A few months later I had a call from Filmtech HQ from an excited Martyn, my bag had arrived! And I was not disappointed.

The bag has a pouch on the back for an NP1 battery and shoe, there is a cable pass-through hole to get the battery lead to the mixer without having to exit the bag.

The radio mic pouch was designed to take Audio Ltd radio mics in an RK2/3 rack, the zip arrangement allows the antenna to poke out with ease. There is also a flap to get access to the radio mic kit... AND, there is a pocket on the front for storing your lavs/transmitters etc neatly so they are always at hand... Again a cable pass-through was provided to get the radio mic cables to the mixer inputs.

The icing on the cake for me was the little pouch on the input side, this was the perfect size to take the Neumann RSM191 Matrix for my stereo M/S gun mic.

This was a fantastic bag and the perfect partner for the Filmtech LSP4. We had a lot of adventures together.

I'll have a look for the cover, if it is here, I will find it and include it. I have a feeling it is gone, the mixer, the radio mics and the RSM191 were all stolen from my car in Oxford. The flap may have been in the case when it went.

Shoulder strap is not included. I'm still using it with my Sound Devices. I have a spare strap somewhere. I will list it separately in the future.
