This is a rare professional BUHL mobile multiplexer cine film transfer unit in excellent working order. I have owned it for around 25 years while running a successful film transfer business. Suitable for 8mm, 9.5mm and 16mm transfer, in standard and high definition.

Comes complete with a full copy of the illustrated instruction manual.

How it works - The projection image shines through a series of specialised lenses and reflected with a front coated mirror to create a “floating image” that is captured directly into the camera lens. As the image is captured directly from the film frame rather than from a screen, there are no hot spots or other artefacts, resulting in a brighter, clearer and sharper transfer.

The unit does dismantle into two or more pieces.
