Fairly used. Good solid, sturdy lens, very functional at this price point. I've found it useful shooting sharp video with a micro 4/3 adapter for my Panasonic GH2.

Manual aperture, fixed aperture through the zoom. Quite fast at 2.8.

No haze, fungus, or scratches.



Issues to note:

two small pin prick dots on the front outer glass. These do not affect image.
some dust inside the glass, this is standard for moving parts of this type, images are fine.
some stiffness about halfway when zooming manually, again I believe this is normal for this glass.
have not tested the electrics recently, but when I purchased I was assured they were in working order and I trusted the seller.

The lens could probably do with a service, I bought it in pretty much exactly the same condition 2 years ago, and have just used it to shoot a few corporate videos and promos. That said, it's an excellent lens and I've never had an issue with image quality, and it has been one of my favourite lenses, it's just a bit heavy for the sort of video work I do.
